Julius & Beverly Herring
Deacon Herring:
I joined this ministry around 1978 when we were still at the old church; St Paul
Missionary Baptist Church. Since I have joined this ministry, over the years I
have grown tremendously in the Lord. I serve as a Deacon, head of the tape
committee, church van driver when needed, food committee member, and I am
the overseer of the building. If anything goes wrong with the building, I am the
one to call.
My favorite scripture is Joshua 24:15; But as for me and my house, we will
serve the Lord.
I am a true servant of God. I love the Lord because he first loved me. I know
that i can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me.

Deaconess Herring:
I have been a part of this ministry since I was a small child. I remember
walking to church on Sunday mornings all the way from Clinton Road. Reverend
Wade and Deacon Charles Evans tore up many cars coming down that long
bumpy road to get me and my sisters.
My greatest duty in the church is to be a servant. I serve in the capacity of
Deaconess, choir member, one of a few church nurses, and I work with the
Nursery staff.
    I don't just have a favorite scripture, I have a favorite passage. Psalms 27.
Because the Lord truly is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear, the Lord
is the strength of my life of whom shall I be afraid. This passage has always
been a comfort to me.
My Goal in life is to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all
the things I need will be added to me as well.
